Louise Booth

Although art was the passion of my childhood years, I started painting late in life.  I am grateful that I can now fill my days with colour and after completing a painting share it, believing my art bring as much joy in their new homes as what I had doing them.

As a self-taught artist, I portray what I see with detail and colour in my own particular style and try to capture the moment in time that caught my eye and imagination. It is important to me to capture the essence of the Subject that I paint – the light in the eye, the paint on an old wall that is flaking, the light and shadows in a Still life, the colour of the clouds, the fur on an animal.

As an Artist, I do not create, I merely attempt to project Gods wonderful Creation onto a canvas.
