Christine de Jonge

I live in the tranquility of Ballito in KZN. My journey started 5 years ago with art classes in the evenings after work. It's was basic skills and color combinations.  3 years ago my path cross with these amazing ladies in a garage/art studio where we connect every Wednesday morning.

I like all mediums of art but favour acrylic most of the time. I found a lot of inspiration in the work of Kim Black ( South African artist) and Nancy Medina ( Overseas artist). Their tegniques inspire me to paint more freely and not put myself in a box ( and stop paint chocolate boxes, ha). I started to develop my own style and love it.
